The V was a difficult act to follow, but by expanding on the clear sole and stealth looks and being developed to Mike’s exact specs, it still kept the kids salivating. Vehicle-style details like the front and rear ‘spoilers’ with loops and holes for easy access prior to hitting the courts meant that while this ’91 classic might look a little cumbersome in comparison to earlier Jordan chapters, there’s plenty more performance elements in the mix alongside the usual aesthetics. And after this shoe, we bade farewell to our beloved Visible Air on Jordan models. There's several good reasons as to why people still lose their minds over this silhouette, and you should get involved. For 2010, the infrared and durabuck has been replaced here by varsity red and suede - arguably a superior material, and that doesn't diminish the overall effect at all.
